About This Experience
This Lisbon Craft Beer Tasting & Microbrewery Tour isn’t just a boozy afternoon — it’s a dive straight into Portugal’s royal past, served with six fresh craft beers and enough food to keep the squad upright.
The whole thing takes place inside an 18th-century royal tunnel, originally built as the horses’ passage to the palace. Rumour has it Portugal’s last king, D. Manuel II, used this very tunnel to escape when the monarchy collapsed in 1910. Fast-forward 100+ years and it now serves a far more noble purpose: beer.
Here, some of the most original craft beers in Lisbon are brewed on-site and poured straight from a lineup of taps built into the stone walls of a royal cave. And the food? Absolute madness that pairs dangerously well with alcohol.
You’ll learn how the beers are made, hear the wild history of the tunnel you’re drinking inside, and probably leave with a new personality trait: “craft beer expert.”
It’s the perfect activity for bach trips, birthdays, stag dos, team buildings or any group that thinks “beer tasting” should be a full-contact sport.
